105: The Good and The Bad

Sun Apr 3, 2011, 10:19 PM
Well the good news is that I had a blast in England. The bad news is I came home and I was laid off from my day job which I have had for 11 1/2 years. The other bad news is that I came back from England fucking even more broke and disillusioned than before I left. Certain things happened and have happened since and I made the decision before even going to England to make England be my "last Hemlock hurrah" so to speak. I planned on just quietly doing this but I wasn't expecting to lose my day job LOL Which means I just decided to abandon the whole thing much sooner.

So all my photography equipment is currently on the web and for sale. I've got this fucking comic collection that I have not wanted for years I am putting on eBay, I'm probably gonna sell my vinyl records as well. I am tired of carrying around all this baggage. LOL

I have some photo sets for sale. Dirt cheap. PM for details. I probably will be selling all the Polaroids and Fuji's as well. However, they are not cheap. If interested PM.

Buy my comics:

This is incredibly disheartening news! i've always been such a fan of your crisp and quality photography, it'll be such a shame not to see your updates anymore. :/

hey life is a journey not a destination. ive had heaps of good and shit jobs over the years. Think of it as an opportunity to experience some life and feel free. Dont give up your passion cos its what your good at and what makes you feel good and holy shit dude you make a lotta people happy on here thats for sure. it dont pay no bills but money cant always buy happiness. good luck bro. ;)

Its a shame to see you dropping out of photography, you're work is always incredible. Sorry to hear about you losing your job, it's a rough time for that. I'd suggest trying to monetize your photo skills (weddings, etc), but that might just make things worse if your heart isn't in it. I wish you the best, man.

Damned, I'm really sorry about all of that, especially that you are giving up on the photography. :(

Just be happy, man. That's really what fuckin' matters. Don't make yourself miserable just so you can buy more shit or because everyone says you have to. None of that matters. BE HAPPY.

We'll miss you around these parts, but that's our problem, not your's. Be well.
