My three year anniversary on Model Mayhem is fast approaching in October so while I have been recovering from my accident I have been looking at a lot of my photos from 2006 and earlier.
Back then photography was a hobby. Sometimes I would take pics for art projects or to do drawings or because I'd meet a girl I thought was worth photographing. After I met Jessi Frances and started taking pics with her she kept telling me I should put my photos online. She showed me Model Mayhem and thought it would make it easier for me to find models to shoot with that way. Anyway, I finally caved in and set up an acct. A few months later I found myself here on DA. The rest I guess is history.
Anyway, back in that time period I decided to switch to a digital format thinking it was all magic. I had no clue how to use Photoshop. It was like a magic bag of tricks. So sometimes when I look at the original photos from that time that I shot I think, "Oh this isn't as bad as I remembered." Then I look at my edited version and cringe. What was I thinking?
So I hit upon this photo and thought, "Oh I like that one!" So I re-edited it last night and it is truer to the original. Why on Earth I shot it at 400 ISO is beyond me. If I could go back in time I'd change the camera settings for myself LOL

Tate! I drew "Jessi in the Palms"! I think it's OK (it could have been better, but I'm rusty). You got me off my ass though and provided me with a great source photo. If you don't like it for any reason, I will delete it immediately! Maybe I'm too critical of myself, but I was hoping to do a better job. I also hope that it would be OK if I used another of your photos for my next drawing.
